Unfortunately, there is not an advantage to obama to be on clinton's ticket, and I seriously doubt that she would deign to be the veep. Unfortunately, the Clinton's are going to go to dirty tricks to try to win this, and I can only hope that Obama can fight right back, because he's going to have to x10 if he wants to have any chance to beat old man McCain. I do agree with your premise that it's better when small groups work together, but I don't see how two establishment candidates taking on a third makes them any stronger.
